Foundation Day!

Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) joyfully commemorates its 124th Foundation Day, celebrating more than a century of educational excellence and service to the province of Ilocos Sur. Founded in 1902, it stands as one of the oldest and most esteemed public high schools in the region, having started as a modest institution that aimed to provide accessible learning opportunities to local youth. This significant milestone honors the pioneering educators and community leaders who laid its foundation, as well as the countless students, teachers, and alumni who have shaped its identity as a pillar of academic growth and cultural preservation in Northern Luzon.
The 124th anniversary festivities bring together the entire ISNHS community in a vibrant showcase of pride, talent, and unity. The celebration features a wide range of activities, including academic fairs highlighting student achievements in science, technology, and humanities, traditional folk dance performances that pay homage to Ilocano culture, and athletic events that promote sportsmanship and healthy competition. Special tributes will be given to distinguished alumni who have excelled in various professions, from public service to the arts and sciences, along with recognition for dedicated faculty members who have devoted decades to molding young lives. As part of our community, we spent the afternoon sweeping and tidying up,  working together to make a difference.  After cleaning the environment, we should plant more some of herbal plant-which we really enjoyed.
